Thanks Gift Bag {Timeless Twine DT Day}

Hey Everyone!
It's DT day over at Timeless Twine & Bella Creations today and  I'm sharing a cute little thank you bag with all of you. I had to send out a special custom order of flair and wanted a cute little thank you bag and Bella Creationz kraft bags were perfect!

When you're in a pinch and need something quick, this is the perfection solution. I stamped the "thanks" on, which is a Lawn Fawn thank you gift from a purchase, and then I stamped the hearts on using the "Oh Snap" stamp set from Bella Creationz. I then punched two holes smack dab in the middle of the bag, after I folded the top down, of course. I grabbed some fabulous Timeless Twine and ran four strands through the hole and pulled it through the other side to tie a bow. This is the perfect and quick solution to anything that you need to package up and send off.

For this project I used the following:

50 X-Small Brown Kraft Bags - PRINTABLE BAGS - Candy Buffet Bags - Penny Bags

Camera Stamp Clear Stamp Set "Oh Snap" - Perfect for Project Life, Instagram, Polaroid scrapbook pages or cards.

SALE - Autumn Splendor Bakers Twine by Timeless Twine - 1 Spool (160 Yards)

Thanks for taking a peek at my project today. I hope you all have a twine-tastic day!

Hugs,

Kristy

{Layout Share} Toy Shopping

Hey Everyone! Happy Thursday!! Are you ready for the weekend yet? I know I am! It's suppose to be in the upper 60's here this weekend and I am so ready!!

 Well, today I have another layout to share with all of you. On this layout, I totally went way out of my 'comfort zone'. I'm so proud of myself for adventuring out and trying new things on my layouts. The end result, for me, is priceless and something I am so proud to put into my albums.

I am definitely learning to layer more and I'm really trying to figure out the whole "design" aspect when creating my layouts. I have to say, You Tube has been a God send for me, as it has really taught me a lot about the whole "eye catching" design by using a triangle, as well as other tricks to flow the eyes across the page.

I recently won a giveaway from PinkFresh Studio over on Instagram and I couldn't wait to get my goodies to play. I received my goodies in this fun pink package and I just couldn't wait to play! I also had my April Kit from Scraptastic Club sitting on my table as well, so I put the two of them together and went to town.

I took this photo of my pup when we had a vet visit and I was looking for a new toy for her. Yes, she's as spoiled as my kids. She gets a treat for doing well at the dr. lol - I absolutely LOVE this pic. I think it's just so funny. Anywho, I knew that I wanted to use this photo with my new kit AND my new fun goodies from Pink Fresh Studio. I really love how this layout turned out.

Products used for this layout:

Scraptastic Club - April Kit
Paper: Teresa Collins
Glitter Stickers - Heidi Swapp
Enamel Shapes - MME. Teresa Collins
Diecuts - October Afternoon
Decorative Stickers - Teresa Collins
Alpha - Amy Tan
Roller Stamp - Amy Tan
Gold Glitter tape - Target $1 spot
Gold Embossing Powder - Recollections

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek at my layout today. I hope you all have a scrap happy day!

Photo Love {Timeless Twine DT Day}

Hey Everyone! Happy Wednesday!

 I hope you all are enjoying your week thus far. It's been a bit {gasp} snowy here this week. Where is spring?!?! Mother Nature is so confused!

So, this month we are challenged to go outside of our box and create something fun and different. Well, I am obsessed with stitching on projects lately, so it's no surprise that I stitched on this layout!

I had these 2x2 photos sitting on my desk for some time. I had been playing around with my photos and trying to print some from home and I didn't want these to go to "waste", so I had this pictured in my mind as to how I could put all these photos into a heart. At first, I thought about doing a die cut heart with my Silhouette, but then I ditched that idea and went straight for the twine and I absolutely LOVE it! I used the die cut heart to lightly trace a heart on to the cardstock and then I used my Amy Tan stitching template to space the holes out around the heart. Super easy, so fun, and a really super simple layout.

Of course, I couldn't leave a layout without any splatters! I had to had some black mist to top it all off. If I was to do this layout again, I would do the mist BEFORE I did everything else. It would give it a more uniform look and I would also make sure it is DRY before I move on to added the photos and embellishments {I'm not so patient}.

I used the new Bella Creationz stamp set and stamped around the inside edge of the entire heart with the "moments captured" sentiment and I used the Cherry Red Timeless Twine to stitch the heart. I cut the family arrow on my silhouette from a Scraptastical Kreations SVG. The flair is from ScrappyK Designs etsy shop, and the photo love card is from October Afternoon Daily Flash cut-aparts.

Everyday Word Arrows-Everyday Word Arrows, Die Cut Word Arrows, Word Arrows SVG, Word Arrows SVG Cutting files, Word arrows cutting files, Project Life Cutting files, Project Life SVG, Smashing SVG, Smashing Cutting File, Smashing SVG Cutting Files, Project Life SVG Cutting Files, svg, gsd, dxf, wpc, ai, pdf, png, jpg, wishblade, blackcat cougar, pazzles, cricut, silhouette, robocraft, fairycut, make the cut, scal, scal2, sure cuts a lot, svg files, svg cutting files, scrapbooking, paper piecing, paper piecing patterns, paper piecing files, digital scrapbooking, tear bears, freebie, svg freebie, Cricut, Silouette, Cameo, Eclips, Sizzix Eclips, Black Cat Cougar, Make the Cut, Sure Cuts a Lot, Wishblade, Pazzle, digital cutting files, cutting files, svg cutting files, svg paper piecing patterns, vector cutting files, vector paper piecing patterns, paper piecing patterns, Scraptastical Kreations SVG Cutting Files, Scraptastical Kreations Paper Piecing Patterns,

Always & Forever {Layout Share}

Hey Everyone!

Well, I'm beginning to think that mother nature is beyond confused. Today I woke up to 4 inches of snow on the ground. Surely that is not my idea of spring! I sure hope she can get her act together soon. I need some warmth in my life!

Today I am sharing a layout with all of you that focuses on a photo of my and my boys. I don't get many photos of them in general now, but getting a photo of the 3 of together is completely epic!

I really, really LOVE how this layout came together. I'm a scatter scrapper - I don't plan my layouts and pull out what I like and go with the flow. I tried something a little different and tried to sew on some cork. It worked great, but make sure it is not adhesive on the back {fail}. I love how the two patterned diagonal patterns offset each other and I think they really go well with each other. I added some fun polka dot washi, some flair, and lots of cardstock diecuts, as well as some enamel dots and watercolor paint. Ohhh and I tried my hand at stamping on cork as well and {{LOVE}} it!! I really need to up my stamp collection so I have more options to turn to when stamping on cork.

For this layout I used the following products:

Patterned Paper - Teresa Collins, Bazzill Basics, My Mind's Eye
Cardstock - Bazzill
Cork - Paper Studio
Deorative Stickers - Teresa Collins
Enamel Dots - Teresa Collins
Cardstock Diecuts - October Afternoon
Washi Tape - My Mind's Eye

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a scrap happy day!!

Kristy

Patiently Waiting {Layout Share}

Happy Friday, Everyone!!

Well, as the years pass by and my boys are teenagers, I don't get many current photos of them. They run and hide from any sight of a camera, so that leaves me with one subject that doesn't have too much of a choice to run when she sees a camera; our pit Sadie. She's a great sport and I truly LOVE that I get photos of her and can use "girly" papers and colors when creating layouts of her. Having 3 males as my main (before Sadie came along) subjects, a change of pace as been so nice! With all that said, I will be sharing a layout today of my baby girl, Sadie.

Sadie would always go with me to pick up the boys from school when she was much smaller than she is now. She would whine and hang out the window waiting for her human brothers to make it to the car. And, in this photo that is exactly what she is doing; patiently waiting. I adore this photo. It is one of my very favorites of her.

When I received my April kit from Scraptastic Club, I knew exactly what photo I wanted to use and it was, of course, my favorite one that I have been itching to scrap since I printed it. I was going for a bright and bold feel, but that kind of took a different route. I really like the pink, navy, and yellow color scheme, which is something that is not so typical me, but I really LOVE how these colors really flow well with each other.

For my kit this month, I chose the "Worth Wondering" main kit and the add on. Yep, I treated myself a bit this month.

For this layout I used the following products

Cardstock - Bazzill Chocolate Malt
Patterned Paper - My Mind's Eye & Teresa Collins
Journal Tags - Scraptastic Club Exclusive Cut-aparts,
Sequins - Bella Creationz
Puffy Stickers - Evalicious
Die Cut - October Afternoon,
Enamel Dots - Teresa Collins
Mist - Heidi Swapp Color Shine
Glitter Stickers - Heidi Swapp
Roller Stamp - Amy Tan

Thanks so much for taking a peek and I hope you all have a scrap happy day and a fabulous weekend!

Hugs,

Kristy

Insta Love {Layout Share}

Happy Thursday, Everyone!!

Well, I think spring is FINALLY upon us {keeping fingers crossed}. The weather here has been fairly decent recently and we've had some 60's and 70's this week {doing the happy dance}, which means I can FINALLY open up all my windows and air out this house and get rid of those winter blues!

Well, let's get on to the good stuff! Today I'm here sharing a layout with all of you, which I've had done for awhile but I'm just getting around to sharing it. I recently joined the Scraptastic Kit Club and was so super excited to receive my first kit in February, which is what I used to create this layout.

I have a TON of these photos of my oldest from last year, but this is about as far as it goes since he does NOT let me take many photos of him anymore. That is why these photos are so very special to me, as it was a mock photo shoot that HE wanted to do, so I took as many photos as I can. That is what my journaling touches on as well. I really love how this layout came together. I love the statement on the right because he DID make this photo.

I took the My Minds Eye patterned paper and cut out a quote and then cut that quote into individual words to use on the side of the page. I really wanted to use that portion of the patterned paper, but it was just not fitting into the layout as a whole, so I decided to cut it apart and create a title block with it instead. I also used a quote from the opposite side of the same patterned paper by My Mind's Eye and used that quote underneath the photo, which I love. On the right, I added the word "photograph" to dimensional dots, as well as the flair button on the left had side to give this layout a bit of dimension.

For this layout I used the following products

Scraptastic Club - March It's My Life Kit
Paper - Bazzill Basics & My Minds Eye
Chipboard & Die cuts - October Afternoon
Exclusive Wood Veneer, Cut Aparts and Flair - Scraptastic Club
Color Shine - Heidi Swapp
Roller Stamp - Amy Tan
Zig Writer Black Pen

Thanks so much for taking a peek at my layout today. I hope you all have a scrap happy day!

Hugs,

Kristy
