Now, on to my project. I first started to create a layout. I thought I would take this opportunity to do some scrapping for myself since it's been quite some time since I have scrapped my own stuff. However, I started getting everything ready for the layout, and low and behold the specific photo I wanted to use was gone. After about an hour of sifting through photos, I found it and my son was cut out, lol. I must have let him use it for a school project and forgot, lol. Ok.. so enough of that and on with my Happy Birthday card. I'm so not a card maker, but I am so happy with the way that this card turned out.

For the "Happy Birthday" I used the totally awesome Cri-Kits. These pens are so worth it!! I created a title in my Make the Cut program and then I plopped the Cri-Kit housing and pen into the Cricut and away it went! I truly cannot get over how fun these pens are to use. I have so many ideas running through my head to use these with! I had so much fun playing with these, and thanks to Cri-Kits I will have a set of Cri-Kits for one lucky winner!
