Hey Everyone!
Well, I'm beginning to think that mother nature is beyond confused. Today I woke up to 4 inches of snow on the ground. Surely that is not my idea of spring! I sure hope she can get her act together soon. I need some warmth in my life!
Well, I'm beginning to think that mother nature is beyond confused. Today I woke up to 4 inches of snow on the ground. Surely that is not my idea of spring! I sure hope she can get her act together soon. I need some warmth in my life!
Today I am sharing a layout with all of you that focuses on a photo of my and my boys. I don't get many photos of them in general now, but getting a photo of the 3 of together is completely epic!
I really, really LOVE how this layout came together. I'm a scatter scrapper - I don't plan my layouts and pull out what I like and go with the flow. I tried something a little different and tried to sew on some cork. It worked great, but make sure it is not adhesive on the back {fail}. I love how the two patterned diagonal patterns offset each other and I think they really go well with each other. I added some fun polka dot washi, some flair, and lots of cardstock diecuts, as well as some enamel dots and watercolor paint. Ohhh and I tried my hand at stamping on cork as well and {{LOVE}} it!! I really need to up my stamp collection so I have more options to turn to when stamping on cork.
For this layout I used the following products:
Patterned Paper - Teresa Collins, Bazzill Basics, My Mind's Eye
Cardstock - Bazzill
Cork - Paper Studio
Deorative Stickers - Teresa Collins
Enamel Dots - Teresa Collins
Cardstock Diecuts - October Afternoon
Washi Tape - My Mind's Eye
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a scrap happy day!!
Hugs,
Kristy
